These quick an easy mitts are a great way to use a single skein of a truly beautiful luxury yarn. In cashmere they will keep your wrists (and consequently your whole body) warm. The smocking detail at the wrist keeps them snug and fitted.

Assemblage2

Yarn: 100(115, 132) yards of sport weight yarn. Artyarns Cashmere Sock (67% Cashmere/25% Wool/8% Nylon), 160 yards per 50 gm skein), in ‘302 Half Strength’; 15 wpi
Needles: 3.5mm (US 4) double pointed needles or size needed to obtain gauge.
Gauge: 25 sts and 37 rows per 4 inches (10 cm) square in smocking pattern after blocking.
Finished Sizes: 6[7, 8] inches (15.25[17.75, 20.25]cm) hand circumference.
Notions: stitch markers to mark gusset and beginning of round, tapestry needle for weaving in ends.
