These sassy legwarmers are a must for fall and winter wear. Keep your legs cozy when you wear your favorite dress, or add an extra layer of warmth under pants on those bitter cold days.

Yarn: 325[385, 475] yards of DK weight yarn. Sample shown in Rowan Purelife British Sheep Breeds DK (100% Undyed British Wool, 131 yds per 100gm skein) in ‘Brown B.F.L.’; 13 wpi
Needles: Set of 5 double points in both 3.75mm (US 5) and 4.5mm (US 7) or sizes needed to obtain gauge.
Finished Size: To fit 1214, 17 inch (30.535.5, 43.25cm) calf circumference (see notes) with up to 4 inches of negative ease. Length: 23 inches (58.5cm) from cast-on edge to bound-off edge, unstretched.
Gauge: 24 stitches and 24 rounds per 4 inches (10cm) square in bramble stitch, unstretched.
Notions: Tapestry needle to weave in ends, stitch marker to denote beginning of round.
Pattern Includes: written instructions
Stitches Used: knit, purl, k3tog, purl knit and purl into the same stitch.
Other Details: These legwarmers are worked in the round from one end of the tube to the other with ribbing at each end. The Bramble Stitch pattern is extremely stretchy, so no shaping is needed to make the legwarmers fit even the curviest calves.
